Korang rasakan... Prinsip "do whatever makes you happy" ni, selfish tak? Aku kira selalunya orang sekeliling kita have a big role in our happiness so kita selalunya akan fikir whether the things that we do akan buat orang-orang yang kita sayang happy ke tak. So in this sense, prinsip ni tak selfish at all.
Tapi manusia tak perfect. Katalah kita mati-mati nak buat something yang, say, mak bapak kita tak suka.. Korang rasa patut ke tak? Firstly, for me, memang dapat rasa happy kalau dapat buat sesuatu yang kita nak. Tapi secondly, I'd say that happiness wouldn't last long. Because for me, true happiness lies in God's hands. Kalau mak bapak tak suka, korang rasa Tuhan akan bagi true happiness ke? So bab ni, ada element selfish dia lah jugak.
Aku tau banyak orang yang akan do whatever makes them happy without thinking about other people. Golongan ni aku label "Me, myself and I, first and foremost." Loving yourself is all good and well. But mungkin pasal aku ni old soul, aku cuma nak pesan, kite tinggal in a society so pandai-pandai fikir ha. Kalau memang hidup bertapa kat gua, dah lain cerita lah.
Lagi satu. Hari tu ada berbual dengan seorang kawan ni. Berbual pasal hak asasi manusia or human rights. It was one of those very few moments where I felt like a true university student. Oh snap. Hahaha. Anyway, cakap punya cakap, I had to get off at my stop. The last thing kawan tu kata was, "Asyik nak jaga hak manusia je, hak Allah siapa nak jaga?"
